Glendora Chess Tournament 2019

To register for the Glendora Chess Tournament on December 9th, please click on the school below that your child attends.
 
*Any K-5 students in the Glendora Unified School District
*Players will compete against others at or near their grade levels.
*Arrive in the cafeteria by 1:15pm. The event will conclude by 3:30pm.
*Family and friends are encouraged to attend the tournament. Spectators might be permitted to watch games from afar.
-Free to current Chess Institute students, $10* registration fee for all others. (Deadline to register is December 1st)

-All students will receive a participation ribbon. Other awards such as medallions will be awarded.
-The winning school will be named the Glendora Chess Champion, and will receive the traveling trophy!
-This event will develop 21st Century Skills such as Critical Thinking, Creative Thinking, Communication, and Collaboration.
