About:
Patrick Hardy is a seasoned leader with a passion for teaching and helping kids to succeed. In virtually every organization that he has served in, Patrick has risen to the top in a leadership capacity. In his high school marching band, he auditioned and became the drum major, leading over 160 students in a competitive musical environment for two straight years. Later, as a volunteer service missionary in Brazil, he was asked to fulfill various leadership capacities, in the smallest to the largest of groups. After two years of foreign service, Patrick returned to the U.S., where he began his higher education in Washington state. In the summers between school sessions, he worked as a crew foreman for a painting company, and then in 2014, he owned and operated his own painting company, staffed with 10 student painters which he hired and trained. It was during this time that Patrick discovered his love for teaching children. He joined ACI as a Role Model, teaching classes of elementary school children in the fall, winter and spring. With two years of missionary service and a history of competitive chess experience, teaching was a natural and exciting endeavor. Upon moving to Utah to continue his education, the opportunity arose to introduce ACI to more schools, so more kids could have the opportunity to gain key 21st century skills. Patrick resigned his position as the Fulfillment Director at a marketing company to join ACI, where he could pursue his passion for teaching and helping kids. Patrick’s goals with ACI are to help kids of all backgrounds to: -Learn applicable 21st century skills in a fun and engaging way -Deliver a high quality of STEM education that exceeds all other organizations, public or private -Instill a passion for lifelong learning and continuous improvement in everyone with whom he associates
